Another area that K+A is involved in is giving back to the community. We have actively supported local, national, and international charitable organizations.

Locally, our most recent efforts have been on behalf of the North York Harvest Food Bank, one of Toronto's largest food banks. As part of our commitment to be involved with this worthy organization, K+A’s David Krieger was elected to the 2011-2012 Board of Directors. In addition, K+A lent its support by donating design services, working with the Food Bank to produce their 2010 Annual Report.

Previously, we’ve worked with the Toronto Foundation for Student Access to help students benefit physically, emotionally, and intellectually from school each day.

On the national level, we have been a major ongoing supporter of the Ronald McDonald House Charities. RMHC strives to offer a helping hand to improve the quality of life for Canadian families who have children living with serious and/or life threatening illnesses or disabilities.

Internationally, K+A continues to support Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). This international medical humanitarian organization delivers aid to people in emergencies in more than 70 countries affected by: armed conflict, epidemics, natural or man-made disasters, or lack of health-care. Most recently, K+A made a donation through MSF to support the earthquake relief efforts in Haiti.

K+A also responds to various areas in crisis situations such as Quebec after the ice storm in 1998, and Darfur in recent years.

K+A and friends donned official Olympic gear throughout the 2010 Winter Olympics, and made a donation to show our support of the Canadian Olympic athletes.

Our team approach is carried from our work to our volunteer activities; from helping to keep Toronto clean to wrapping presents for disadvantaged kids, we like to help.
